Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded the security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Nava Raipur, acknowledging their courage, sacrifice, and dedication. Addressing the troops, including the Central Security Forces, Cobra team, Chhattisgarh Police Force, and DRG, Shah expressed confidence in their ability to successfully combat Naxalism. He announced a commitment to eradicate Naxalism from the country by March 31, 2026. Shah highlighted the devastating impact of Naxalism on the tribal communities, leading to the deaths of approximately 40,000 people over 35 years. He emphasized the government’s efforts to connect these areas with the mainstream by providing essential amenities like food, healthcare, education, electricity, housing, sanitation, and clean drinking water. Shah also launched a book detailing the atrocities committed by Naxals against the tribals.
