The perpetrator entered the girl’s home while she was alone, gagged her with a cloth, and committed the act. He then fled the scene. The incident occurred in a village under the jurisdiction of the Piyar police station on Friday. The minor girl was home alone, as her family members were away for work. Mohammad Mubarak (19), who resides at his maternal grandparent’s place, entered the house and locked the door from the inside. He then attempted to rape the girl. When she screamed, he stuffed a cloth into her mouth.
Subsequently, he subjected her to the assault for an extended period. The girl’s brother unexpectedly arrived at the scene, at which point the accused attacked him before escaping. The family reported the incident to the police, leading to a demand for swift arrest and stringent action against the accused. The local residents are also urging the police to act quickly.
Police are actively searching for the suspect, as stated by Piyar Police Station Officer Pankaj Yadav. An FIR has been filed based on the victim’s complaint, and raids are being conducted at potential hiding places. The police are committed to arresting the accused promptly.
