Amidst increased passenger traffic, the railways are running summer special trains. However, reports indicate a decline in the condition of these special coaches. In one recent incident, faucets were stolen from the toilets of a summer special train. This incident prompted a passenger to lodge a complaint with the authorities. The incident occurred on the 07315 Hubballi to Muzaffarpur summer special train. The train was delayed by eight hours. Upon reaching Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay station, it was discovered that all the faucets from both toilets in the S-2 sleeper coach had been removed. This caused water to flood the coach. A passenger documented the issue on social media platform X, along with a complaint to Rail Madad. The incident has triggered an investigation, highlighting ongoing issues of theft within trains, including previous incidents of missing faucets, mirrors, and soap cases.
