In a chilling incident reminiscent of a recent murder case, a newlywed bride in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, issued a terrifying threat to her husband on their wedding night. Following the arrest of Sonam in Indore for allegedly killing her husband, the bride warned her groom against any intimacy, declaring that if he touched her, she would dismember him.
The couple’s wedding ceremony had reportedly proceeded without incident. However, the situation took a dramatic turn on their wedding night. When the groom approached his bride with romantic intentions, she produced a knife and ominously stated, “If you touch me, your body will be cut in 35 pieces.”
Upon questioning, the bride revealed that she was in love with someone else, her nephew, named Aman. The groom’s family reported that she began sleeping with the knife nearby, creating tension in the household. She also allegedly threatened the groom and his family, warning that she would file a false case against them if they spoke about her actions. The bride also demanded to leave with Aman, whom she had been in contact with after the marriage.
Days later, the bride escaped by scaling the house’s boundary wall and eloped with Aman. The groom’s family has filed a police complaint, and the matter is under investigation. The incident has gained significant attention on social media, drawing comparisons to the shocking Raja Raghuvanshi murder case in Madhya Pradesh.
