A shocking incident has come to light from the Masturi area of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Just 20 days after her marriage, a woman orchestrated a daring escape with her lover, leaving her husband stunned. The incident unfolded in a dramatic fashion, reminiscent of a Bollywood film.
The newlywed husband was bringing his wife home from her first visit to her parents’ place. On the way, three men on motorcycles intercepted their vehicle. The husband was brutally assaulted. The shocking part was that the wife herself got on the back of one of the attackers’ motorcycles and rode away. The incident occurred in the Torwa police station area. The victim, Ankit Mahilange, had been married only 20 days prior.
Following the customary tradition, his wife, Ranjita Joshi, had gone to her parents’ home. He was bringing her back when the attack occurred. As Ankit was assaulted, his wife dismounted their bike and, without a backward glance, rode away with one of the attackers. The victim has filed a complaint with the police, who have registered a case against the attackers and launched an investigation.
