Wednesday marked the completion of 10 years of implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) in Jharkhand. Programs were organized in all urban local bodies of the state. To mark the occasion, the Modi government at the center has launched PM Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 in the state.
According to Nancy Sahay, Director of the Directorate of Urban Administration, eligible individuals can apply for the scheme through their respective urban local bodies or online. She also extended her best wishes to the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana and the urban local bodies.
To apply, visit pmaymis.gov.in. Click on the Citizen Assessment option, then click on Apply Online. After that, enter your Aadhaar number and verify with OTP. Fill out the application form (name, address, income, family details, etc.). Upload the necessary documents. Download the receipt after submitting the form. Finally, submit the hard copy of the documents to the municipal corporation office.
Required documents for PM Awas Yojana application include Aadhaar card, ration card, bank passbook, income certificate, passport-size photo, land documents (if you own land), and mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
