Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. The meeting, which took place during his visit to the national capital, included discussions on various important matters. Accompanying the Chief Minister were Karnataka Ministers KJ George, HC Mahadevappa, and Satish Jarkiholi, along with State Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh. An unexpected encounter with actor and filmmaker Aamir Khan also occurred during the visit. Siddaramaiah praised Khan’s ability to deliver impactful social messages through his films. Earlier, Siddaramaiah had planned to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The meeting with Sitharaman comes amidst a dispute over the non-release of a special grant of 11,495 crore rupees to Karnataka by the central government. Siddaramaiah also met with AICC General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala to discuss several key issues.
