Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan took part in a yoga session this morning in Sambalpur, Odisha, as part of the 11th International Day of Yoga celebrations. The event took place near the Maa Samaleswari Temple Complex riverfront and included participation from officials, dignitaries, and local residents. Pradhan highlighted yoga as India’s contribution to global wellness and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his role in promoting yoga worldwide. He encouraged everyone, particularly the youth, to adopt yoga for their health and well-being. The Ministry of Education also organized mass yoga events at Delhi University, Bodh Gaya, Mysuru, and Somanathapura, with participation from various ministry officials, university staff, and students.
